CTVA Television Alumna Brooke Noska (center) wins HPA Award for Outstanding Visual Effects for work on the series THE ORVILLE.

The Hollywood Professional Association (HPA)

The Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) is the trade association serving the community of individuals and businesses who provide creative and technical expertise, support, tools and infrastructure for professional content creation, distribution and archive.

The HPA Awards are considered the standard-bearer for excellence and innovation in an industry embracing an expanding array of groundbreaking technologies and creativity. Bestowed at a gala celebration each November, the Awards honor creative achievement, outstanding artistry, lifetime achievement, and engineering excellence. This year, alumna Brooke Noska and her team team were honored for:

2019 Outstanding Visual Effects – Episodic (Over 13 Episodes)
“The Orville – Identity: Part II”
Tommy Tran, Kevin Lingenfelser, Joseph Vincent Pike – FuseFX
Brandon Fayette, Brooke Noska // Twentieth Century Fox TV

She and her team have also been nominated for a 2019 Prime Time Emmy for the same episode.
